Pretty soon maybe they make you buy in game ammo. Supply depot is worthless and not a new idea, (Lookin at you Battlefield). This franchise has strayed so far, originally started as a work of passion for gaming now its all profit at the sacrifice of quality. Well COD, i think we should see other people. When we first started you had so much drive, such love, but you've changed, you traded in your combat boots for a space suit, so its time to trade you in for something that can stay faithful.

Now its just buried under a pile of utter crap. To start off, you can't even get the game without the vestigle parasite that is Infinate Warfare, even after a full year!

This cuts down on the amount of new players entering the multiplayer and hurts the longevity of the game. It didn't have all the original maps on release (they patched them in later for free, but still) Then had the nads to ask for even more $ with a lewtcrate system. You can't even mount the normal 'just cosmetics' counter argument because now you can get functionality different weapons out of them.

After that Activision decided they needed to wring every friggin penny out of us by charging 15$ for UPDATES of maps that are almost 10 years old! Once you get on multiplayer its a whole new experience with new weapon stats that are unbalanced, new customizations, supplydrops that add even more unbalanced guns that wasn't in the original Call of duty 4, all people do is camp with the M16 and I blame the developers (Raven Software) for making that gun so op, you will no longer be able to show off camos you unlock because there's over 100 different camos you can get in the depot, new meele weapons that change the seriousness of the game by hitting enemys with shovels, beer cans, etc, the sound effects are horrible, I can keep going.

When a REMASTERED game is coming out I expect the same game but in HD so I can re live the nostalgia because thats what a remaster is, I would be happier with this game if they were just honest and said the multiplayer will be a remake with new experiences instead of saying it will be a remaster with graphic and audio touch ups. What really matters is the gameplay,which with a few minor exceptions is pretty much spot on. If you grew up with the original MW, you understand there was gameplay then more reliant on using objects and vantage points rather than the new gen which is all about jumping or boosting around the map very quickly with a multitude of weaponry options and class sets. YES, there are supply drops and a few downloadable guns now.

YES, there are kids who from time to time sit in a corner the entire game. YES, they could have released all the map packs and downloadable weaponry in one package.

But NO, none of these things play any real role in the game. If you've been with CoD as long as I have, and you remember the glory days before the new gen, then I promise this game is for you. The simplicity and dedication to the roots is what's real. Forget everything else and just stay frosty.
