I make my whole hearted recommendation for Roxanne and her husband and my perspective on dance instruction is very unique. I come from a very well known family that ran various dance studios in the Hollywood area. I never learned a single step because the family business was 'hokey'. In light of that I sincerely love Back 2 Basics approach in so many ways. They are confident in many forms of dance, but I came to them to learn the tango. What was so unique about their methodology was that at the core of it they wanted to know why I wanted to learn this dance. A lot of dance instructors will ask that question, but they will not really mean it and will not listen to your answer.

Roxanne, however, really focused on this aspect, thus their instruction was well thought out, well organized, presented well, clear, and most importantly for learning the tango, they did not assume that I came to class socially prepared to learn this dance. That put them head and shoulders ahead of the pack. They are outstanding at what they do, outstanding. There are lots of folks who will tell you how long they have been doing it. It isn't how long you do it; it is how well you do it. I was a complete beginner and you will not find better team for that anywhere.'
